I am a documentary style photographer. I am a historian of moments forever captured into a visual story. A photo session with me is focused around raw, unscripted moments and deep connections which means little to no posing and saying “cheese” during our time together. I will help guide you, but try my best to remain a fly on the wall in order to capture your session most authentically to fit my style.

FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
Central, IL based, but travel is always welcome for additional costs. Adventure is what I live for!
Do you help with styling?
Yes! I am here to help with styling your session, choosing wardrobe etc. A helpful styling guide will be emailed to you after booking.
Do I have to make a deposit when I book?
A 50% non-refundable downpayment of the session cost is required at time of booking to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.
ALL MINI SESSIONS require full payment at time of booking.
**elopements and weddings require 25% down at time of booking with remaining balance due 30 days prior to your wedding date**
Deposits hold your place on my calendar and ALL are nonrefundable should you cancel (a cancellation creates a missed opportunity with other clients). However, deposits will be applied toward your rescheduled session.
How many pictures will we receive?
I always choose quality over quantity and that''s why I will choose the best and most significant photos we captured during your session. You will receive ALL best edited images in your gallery which is almost always 30+ photos. Obviously, weddings and elopements will receive a far greater amount of photos due to more time spent together.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum 4 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery in web and high resolution size!
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and am flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
How do you photograph weddings and elopements?
I love being by your side to help you before and during your wedding day. I'll help you with organizing your day, choosing the best moments for couple photos, the different lights, etc. On your big day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments, and all the details that make your special day unique. We are in this together.
